A very warm welcome to Thomson House School’s website.
We opened our doors back in 2013 with 48 children and two teachers. Such a lot has happened since then – we now have a whole team of devoted and passionate staff, a fabulous new premises, a wonderful playground and an ‘Outstanding’ judgement from Ofsted!
Together with the staff, our governing body, the parents and our links with the Mortlake and Richmond, London community we continue to drive the school forward and prepare your children for life in the 21st century. There is no room for mediocrity at Thomson House School – we have the highest of expectations and aim to excel in everything that we do.
We offer a creative and challenging curriculum which incorporates varied and exciting learning opportunities for the children. Our school values of curiosity, kindness and courage weave through all areas of school life – very high expectations are present in learning, behaviour, appearance and academic rigour. We encourage our children to be well-mannered and respectful, with an empathy for those less fortunate than ourselves. We encourage competitiveness in sport, and aim for every child to fulfil their potential. Above all, we intend for the children to be motivated and enthusiastic in their learning journey – and to have fun and laughter whilst doing so.
We hope that our website tells you everything you want to know. But if it doesn’t, do call us or come and see us – we would be delighted to show you round our fabulous school. The children are willing tour guides and will give you a greater flavour of Thomson House School than the website ever will!
