About Us

Curiosity

Thomson House aims to kindle the spark of curiosity in its pupils. We do this by teaching a creative and broad curriculum which inspires, engages and motivates learners.

The children at Thomson House experience extraordinary learning opportunities, particularly from our termly theme weeks where we go off curriculum and have a range of visitors, workshops, trips and lessons to inspire intellectual curiosity.

Our teachers are passionate about learning and are first-class professionals. They foster inquisitiveness and empower our pupils with the skills to explore the world around them. We invest heavily in professional development so that our teachers are empowered to hone pupils' skills.

The curious mind creates deep thinkers and confident communicators. With a focus on oracy, we encourage questioning, reasoning, debate and justification.

“I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious”

At Thomson House, unlike Einstein, we have many special talents, but, like Einstein, we are also passionately curious.
