Computing

At Thomson House School, we have developed a Computing Curriculum which allows children to develop a sound understanding about all aspects of Technology. Starting by developing an understanding of technology around them, both at home and at school, children then explore a wide variety of computing equipment such as iPads, Beebots, Pro-bots, Chromebooks, Sphero robots and interactive whiteboards; and software like OSMO, Purple Mash, Google and Tynker. As children go through the school, they gain a deeper understanding of the key skills and creative thinking required for using and developing technology. We are constantly striving to update the equipment used to teach the curriculum in order to reflect technological advancements and best equip the children to be ready for life in the 21st Century.
